Default B2500 timing problem

The timing belt broke but we put the new one on and got the timing marks lined up. However the 8 plug wires were quite worn so they were replaced. Unfortunately the "mechanic" did not do it one at a time and now they don't work. We tried the diagram in the book and from autozone but it doesn't fire up. We are stumped and need help! any and all is appreciated. tommckay1 Spokane Wa

is the pic the same as used?
are you getting spark off both coils?
is it getting fuel?
airflow meter. if used is it connected?
have you double checked the timing marks?

Yes that is the picture that was in the book and on autozone. We towed the car to a shop today and I will post the result or what ever it takes to fix our problem. Thanks

Wink timing problem fixed

The timing was not set correctly. Mitchell's diagram showed timing marks and leading edge of the belt marks that had been mistaken for timing marks. The wires were in the correct position (as above diagram) thanks for all the help. We are back on the road in Spokane Washington
