Default B2200 torsion bars

G'day folks, can anyony tell me how to correctly adjust the torsion bars suspension on a 1990 - B2200 dual cab ute. Mine is sagging aboout an inch on the righthand side which I would like to correct, but also check overall if both are set correctly.

All you need to do is tighten the tortion bar on the side that is sagging, provided something isn't bent. If you follow the tortion bar towards the back of the truck where it ends you will run into a bracket with a 17 mm bolt running through it. Tightening this bolt will raise that side and loosening it will lower that side The factory manual says to measure from the ground to the top of the center of the front fender on either side but this is too much of a pain in the but in my opinion. I would just find the same point on either side of the frame and take a tape measure and compare each point until they are the same. There are only two catches, if you adjust it too much out of wack from stock you will mess up our camber, and the second is that after you make an adjustment you may not notice a change. This is because the suspension will have to settle a bit, after you make every adjustment you will need to bounce the front of the truck a few times and probably drive it up the road and back, then take your measurements. If it is 1" low on one side I would try adjusting the bolt about 4 or 5 full turns bounce it and drive it then go from there. If it moved a lot I would try tweaking it 1 or two rounds at a time. Hope this helps.

You wouldn't happen to know of any good websites with info on the eurpean or australian B2200 and B2000 models would you? I know they made the Magnum and the Dragon models and that the Cylinder head on the Magnum is a little different than that on the ones in the united states but can't seem to find any info or a place that sells cylinder heads over there anywhere.

Thanks,
