Default in need of alot of help

ok here it is. i have a wrecked ok totaled 98 ford ranger with the 3.0 v6 5 speed trans in it the motor only has 80 k on it my mazda motor is about shot i was wondering what i need to do to get the 3.0 to bolt up in my 92 b2200...........do i need to change all my emissions over to the truck to make sure it passes inspection.....if i take my motor mounts out of the ranger will they bolt into the mazda i need to know everything to get this to fit i really dont want to get rid of a half way decent motor if i dont have to one more thing will i need to have a custom drive shalft built? any help would be great

You're working with two totally different trucks which share no common parts. Yes you will have to change emissions, wire harnesses
the whole lot. Suggestion to save you time & headaches, sale the ranger parts & buy a used 2.2L or possibly you may be able to trade.

Yes, Mazda trucks arn't really Ford related until 94 and later. From what I understand 93 and earlier ford used some of mazda's designs and tweaked them to make them a little more reliable. After 1994 ford and mazda started some sort of trade agreement where ford would produce mazda trucks in the U.S. and mazda would produce ford trucks in europe. I don't know all the exact details but thats what I hear.
