Default 98 Blowing Fuse for Fuel Pump

I'm new to the forum and could use some help. I have a 98 B4000 that is blowing the fuse to the fuel pump. I have replaced the fuse and driven it, but getting sick of tow bills. The Fuel pump has been replaced, from the first time getting stranded. It ran fine for about a month, and then quit again. I figured out that the fuse was blown. Replaced it and got stuck again. Should have figured it was more than just a fuse. I also had the code for Large evap leak. So, can the evap leak being causing the fuse to blow? Does it sound like a short? Or could there be some other issue with the fuel pump causing it? Thanks in advance for any help!!

It sounds to me like you have a short in the electrical system to the fuel pump. You need to try grounding out the system and checking for a short.
