I have a 93 2600i with 114,000 on it. One of the ujoints has started a skreeching noise (not loud) as it speeds up from a stop. Plan on replacing, but is there some trick to determining the guilty joint? I have the back axle on stands, but without weight on the wheels, the noise is not happening.

do you have the truck supported on the frame or the axle. try supported on the axle it should simulate the weight of the truck good luck
