Smile 90 - b2200

when reversing, is a little jumpy, especially when cold. tires will spin to start reversing if on dirt or grass. Also transmission takes quite a while to shift gears while upshifting...it just seems to hang for 3,4,5,6 seconds at revs before shifting.... any sugestions on what it could be. transmission need work? maybe a vacuum line problem? 1990 fuel injected short box model thx
