I have a 1999 Mazda B4000 4x4 but right now its lacking the 4x4. I have had this Truck to many garages and no one can figure out what is wrong with this.I have changed the Auto Hubs ..I have had this looked over so many times that most of the mile on it is from my house to the garage.Is it possible to put manual hubs on this truck? If so what or were can I get them.My truck has 17 splines and I have ordered the hubs from Warn hubs but they didnt fit my truck.I can e-mail a picture if someone needs to see what I am dealing with.Two years without 4x4 is getting old soif I can not get this fixed then it will become a hen house in a back field someplace.Do ford parts fit on this year mazda?

i had 4wd problems like that with my 99 b4000, turns out it was a problem with the vacume system to the 4wd drive hubs. take out the locking centre peice of the hub on the outside (should be able to grab it and wiggle back and fourth to remove even with tires on). when out look inside should see little gears, take your finger and switch the gear to locked, replace locking mechanism to entire hub, repeat other side of truck.....once this is done ur front is constantly locked, by switching on the dash now from to 4wd to 2wd, the vacume system does nothing but the transfer case still unlocks.. bit harder on gas pushing the front end, but saves ur *** when u need 4wd. tried this with my truck and worked perf, and has now for 5 years..... hope this helps
