Default Unidentifiable Exhaust Smoke Issue

I have just bought a 95Mazda MX3, and replaced the gasket head on it because the exhaust was spewing out white smoke (oil) through the tailpipes but not the engine itself. It's not the PCV valve and the head is new. The smoke stops afterthe car is run for about half an hour. What else is there that could be wrong with the thing? Help please... anyone!

White smoke is coolant, blue smoke is oil, black smoke is fuel. Did you check the cyl head for warpage and cracks?

hixx is correct, white smoke is coolant. Sounds like a warped head to me. I'd pull the head and have the deck checked.

You replaced the head gasket due to a leak, how do you know it wasn't the head being warped in the first place that caused the leak? How do you know the head is new?
