What's the optimum engine coolant temperature?
Hi guys....
I have recently bought 2x OBD2 to read to ECU.
Today after driving for sometime with my family, i used the OBD2 to read my ECU to check my car after i reached home.
Now below is the question and situation:
1) The temperature gauge meter is at middle ( I think it's normal )
2) Upon connected the OBD2, the Engine Coolant temperature was at 95 degree celcius !!!
3) I thought maybe the OBD2 may not reading properly so i plug in another OBD2 and using another app to read the Engine CoolantTemperature and the result came back is same at 95 degree Celcius !!!!
From my experience, a normal tempearature should be optimum at between 80-85 degree celcius..... therefore would like to confirm with other Mazda 2000 MPV owners if the temperature is normal at this range????
By looking at the temperature meter gauge, it's normal at the middle though.
Please advise.......
