1996 Mazda MPV FWD won't shift out of park
1996 Mazda MPV FWD won't shift out of park. It will start. Even with override in the steering column depressed, it won't shift out of park. It wasn't parked on a hill. The brake lights work.
What fuses may be involved and what else would be wrong.
PS. I since replaced the cigar 15amp fuse under the dash fuse, and then there is a buzzing in the steering column and the override in the steering column moves, however still it won't shift out of park. It is odd that it was dead as a door nail until I replaced the cigar fuse, and that it still don't shift out of park. The 10 amp meter fuse isn't broken.
Any suggestions.
