Default TCS ON/OFF - MAZDA MILLENIA

I've been reading the posts on here for the last 2 weeks. Any help would be great! I have TCS On/Off lights from hell.

Came on 2 weeks ago - with the sluggish behavior - and CEL.
3 error codes:
P1526 ABV Vent Solenoid Circuit
P1540 ABV System Fault

...and one about Transmission fluid temp or something.
Mechanic shop says - Rebuild Transmission to fix problem (says bad transmission) AND buy Solenoid.
$2500 later - problem STILL exists with 2 error codes:
P1526 ABV Vent Solenoid Circuit
P1540 ABV System Fault

Take back on this Monday - says another Solenoid is bad. Buy another (I did).
Guess what? Today - SAME PROBLEM!
TCS Lights On/Off; mechanics onsite say they are stumped and don't know what to do.
They have checked for Vacuum leaks, tested Solenoids, checked wires, etc.....but, car STILL sluggishintermittentlyand TCS On/Off lights are still on. They say they can't figure it out. Have unplugged/replugged all vacuum hoses several times to no avail.

ANYBODY that can help - even the mechanic shop is taking suggestions!
ESPECIALLY (babyhuey, 2000mazda, etc.) from certified mechanics and/or experts on Mazda Millenias.

Is your Millenia a2.3 literS? Is this shop a Mazda shop? Are the mechanics Mazda techs? Can you do any of the work yourself? If I am remembering rightyou problem exists in the vacuum hoses to the rear of the engine! It is very easy to cross the vacuum lines evenlooking atthe vacuum diagram. Have you or your Mechanics pulled the ABS/TCS codes from the DL-1 connector on the rear drivers side firewall? What has been done to your car so far for them to charge you $2500?

2000 - first, thanks for responding. Yes, I have 2.3 L (Miller Cycle).
No, it's not at a Mazda Shop, nor do I think the techs are certified Mazda techs. I originally had CEL and TCS On/Off lit on the dash. I went to an AutoZone to read the codes and was told the codes above.
I took it across the street to a Transmission Specialist as the codes came across as "transmission codes" at AutoZone. The Transmission guys then, told me the codes above (ABV, etc.)
So far, for $2500 - I got a rebuild transmission and two solenoids.
However, the problem STILL exists and they don't know what the problem is.
No, I can't do the work myself as I have tried to look and it's very confusing - the hoses, etc.
They have unplugged/re-plugged all the hoses, like 3 times already and can't find any leaks, worn, cracked, etc. hoses.
No broken "t"s. Believe me, I have told them everything I have read you guys saying (2000 and babyhuey).

*** TODAY: they called and said they pulled the TCS codes and it came back with Code 82 ***
What can I do to resolve this?

Was the transmission slipping or something for them to replace it? None of the mentioned codes should lead anyone to suspect the transmission is why I am asking!

Might as well get all of us involvedin another TCS problem 2000s! Only took almost a year to figure out yours so why not open up another can of worms. Holy moses I hate these TCS systems in the Milly. Need to have an on/off switch for the damn system as far as I am concerned. The 1526 code is the cause of the 1540 code so need to focus on that one first. the ABV vent solenoid been replaced? If no why not and have the power and ground circuits been tested. These codes should only turn on the CEL and not the TCS lights but the 82 is a ABS/TCS code that will get the ABS/TCS going to town. What kind of code prompted the replace of an entire transmission based on a "fluid temp" related problem?

2000 and babyhuey, once again - thanks for the follow up.
Here's the information that I have regarding your questions.
The shop decided after analyzing the transmission that it was going bad - which caused the "sluggage" performance.
The original codes, they said, pointed towards the transmissions and/or solenoids.
After rebuilding the transmission and changing out 2 solenoids, they are still having TCS lights.
However, the CEL is no longer coming on - which is why they are stumped.
After reviewing additionally, they said they pulled the Code 82 from the ABS/TCS diagnostic.
But,2000 and babyhuey, you guys are some information gurus which is why I'm asking for help here.

I'll forward your attachment (2000) to the shop so that they can review further regarding the code 82.

Babyhuey, they changed 2 solenoids that gave the CEL and disconnected/reconnected all hoses several times to ensure there was no vacuum leaks (I was adamant after reading your previous posts); also, they have checked all wiring and tested voltage, etc. All tests came back fine, until they test drive it - again, sluggish/jerking motion with TCS lights.
After reading your posts (2000, babyhuey, and kennin) - I have found many symptoms and areas to investigate, but no one has come up with a definitive solution. I know that everyone's problem is different, but I see that this TCS problem will not go away (for some).
Any information regarding resolutions that you all have seen - would be greatly appreciated. I'm already indebted to you for your knowledge. Whatever the outcome is - I plan on updating this post so that other people can use your (our) knowledge for the TCS problem.
Please let me know what you guys think.

Im sorry to drag you into this Babyhuey It hard for me to post any of the diagnostics on here ,because I have to print everthing out on paper, scan it to my PC, and then reduce the file size before I can even post, because I can't copy and paste frommy CD.My car did the same thing at one time when the vacuum hoses got crossed between the ABV Actuator, Charge Air Cooler By-Pass Actuator, and the Fuel Pressure Regulator. I only had a P1540 if I remember right, but the car would not rev over 2500 RPM'S, and would jerk like crazy trying to drive it! I have read other posts with the same issues. Yourmechanics need a good vacuum diagram, and if you search this site you will find one. Next time if I were you I would not take the car to anybody unless they are a Mazda Tech!

2000, yup, I've always dealt with the Mazda dealership.....but, this one time I get drop kicked, I'll tell ya.
I will pass the info about the mix up with the Actuator, etc..
I was able to download a good vacuum diagram from mazdaworld.org website (for the S model).
So, that gives me more good information.
I'm still waiting on the owner to get back with me after I emailed him your attachments this morning.
By the way, if it's 1 or the other circuits that the attachment eludes to, how much does those cost?

Figure out the 2 engine codes first and make sure you completely erase the codes from the PCM and the ABS/TCS. They are 2 seperate units.

2000, as stated previously, after the solenoid(s) were replaced and all hoses reconnected - the CEL no longer comes on. Only the TCS lights with the jerking behavior. I'm assuming the problems narrowed down now.
The owner says that after disconnecting/reconnecting the hoses (again) on Saturday, the TCS lights only come on (as stated) with the jerking behavior. This is when he told me he was stumped.
Since then, he's discovered the Code 82 when running the diagnostic from the ABS/TCS. That's where we were yesterday.
