I'm trying to gather all the parts needed for a CV shaft replacement on a 2001 Millenia. The manual states that the retaining clip should be replaced when the CV shaft is removed. This is the passenger side shaft. The new CV shaft did not come with a new clip, nor did the store staff know where to find one. Onlinemazdaparts does not show the clip I need. Will the old clip be destroyed when the old axle is removed? If it's ok, could I reuse it. If not, where's a good source for this part? I'd rather get it shipped, since I'm two hours from a dealer.
