Default 99 Milly 64K

i have recently pruchesed a 99 milly 2.3L supercharged with 64K on it. im having some issues, i currently drive a 98 camry 4 cylinder and right now the camry is faster then the milly. the milly blows WHITE smoke all the time and has noooo power at all. if you ease in to the throttle it is a little bit better. there is no coolant loss that i can find. i seem to think that is the supercharger, does coolant run through the supercharger???? what should i do to dio it? can i hook up a boost gauge to the supercharger to see out put??? any insight would be great! thanks alot

the compressor is probably dead. and, driving it like that, you probably have killed the pre cats. so, reman compressor, about 2 grand. precats, another 600. parts and labor, probably another grand. then you probably got bad motor mounts, axles, plugs, tees, and some others that will pop up soon. not such a good deal after all.

a bad compressor wont throw a code. a bad compressor WILL make the car run rich. that will kill the precats fast. a simple boost gauge will immediatly tell you if the compressor is bad. they are not fun to change. but, compared to the pre cats, you will like changing the compressor. i'd suggest pulling the plugs to see if they are fouled, but pulling the plugs is not a fun job, either. more fun than pulling the compressor, tho.

is this a trick question? cause there's about 21 FEET of vacuum line on a 2.3. i would connect it to the dashpot on the abv. which is the gold colored thingy under the cover that says miller cycle. right about where the cycle is. or, tee into the map sensor. which lives on a bracket right behind the passenger upper strut mount. actually, thats probably a better source, but it could interfere with the map sensor if you leave it on. but then, you knew that, right?
