Wink New Mazda cx9 2016 0-60 or 0-100?

Hi!

Somebody knows the 0-60 or 0-100 numbers for the new Mazda Cx9 with the turbo engine?

I would like to know if it is under 8 secs.

I currently have the Cx9 v6 (sport 2011) and take the demo test on cx9 turbo 2016 AWD. At start the V6 have a quicker response but after 2000rpm the new cx9 have an amazing acceleration.

So I would like to know.

matrix, are you over-thinking this? Drive every car that interests you. Buy the one that makes you most happy.

Sorry I can't recall where I read it(like many of us I've read a lot of articles) but I remember it being quoted as 7.8-8.0

After test driving one with 7 passengers in it, it moves pretty damn good, but its not really a 0-60 stat vehicle. We test drove an Acura MDX and one of the sales tactics is to go in their back lot with an open stretch and floor it like you are at the drag strip. It will get into the 6.x range..but then I'm like.."when the heck do I do this when I'm in my SUV". I know everone is different so that might be a thing for some. What I liked is that when I press the gas when I'm already doing 30 or 40 it just moves. It doesn't have to hunt for the right gear, nor do I have to floor it into the higher revs to get it moving. It's just a nice vehicle to drive around town.

I bought the CX-9 Touring two wheel drive Pearl White with Black Interior last week.
Today I did two quick passes for zero-sixty times. The best time out of two was 7.9 seconds. I'm pretty sure I can get a faster time after a few more tries and after I get to know this vehicle. There is a little turbo lag, but I am impressed with the standing and rolling acceleration. I have embarrassed myself a couple times due to the wheel spin from stand still acceleration. You can definitely feel the front wheel drive.

I have the 2016 Turbo GT AWD. With the AWD, I will avoid wheel spin?

My old cx9 do 0-60 in 7.6...

I believe the new cx9 have better numbers... no?

I would assume a faster 0-60 with the AWD. I used an app for my iPhone for the timing so who really knows the accuracy. .3 of a second is quick, if I were timing by hand it would be hard to get an accurate time due to the start and stop time of human reaction time. I traded in a Mercedes R350 4matic (AWD) and this cx9 feels quicker. So far I have really enjoyed this vehicle.

I read some reviews about the new cx9: 0-60mph is done in 7.2 seconds
