Loud rattle from Engine compartment when going up hills

One of the rattles in my car has gotten very prominent now. This one sounds like it's coming from the engine, because it rattles when I accelerate quickly or go up hills. I'm hoping I only need a tuneup. Has anyone has this issue and what did it turn out to be?
