Default HID Fog light Upgrade & Headlight Upgrade to 6000k

Well, the I have OEM headlight HIDs but they were too yellow for me soI swapped them out for 6000k HID bulbs. I also upgraded the halogen fog lights to 6000k HID to match. They are the 9006 bulb type. I bought a retrofit kit and they look great and much brighter too. I'm also adding amber LED turn signal bulbes both front & rear. I have the bulbs already but when I installed them they blinked fast becauseit thought that the bulb was out due to the low power consumption of the LEDs. I ordered some load equalizers (resistors) to fix the issue and will install them as soon as I get them later this week. Pics to follow...

The conversion cost 170.00 for the fog lights and 97.00 for the headlights. It's was very easy to do, about a half an hour per side for both the headlights & fogs. I got the HIDs from www.visionbulbs.com enter the discount code: E46FANDSCT to get 15% off the list price. If you like the color of the OEM HID headlights than you can just get the HID fogs in 4300kto match.

If you look carefully at the following pics you can notice that I swapped out the orange parking lights on the headlight assembly to white LEDs also. So that everything would match perfectly.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the LEDs were direct replacements #194 bulbs. I'll keep you guys updated on the amber LED turn signal bulbs.

Most of the replacement LED manufacturers offer a replacement blinker relay that works with led's. That way, if you're replacing all four turn lights with led's, you can just swap out the blinker and not have to add four load resistors.
