it is now 2 years later and I have once again replaced the blower motor relays and the front vents do not blow any air, I am getting great ventilation from the rear vents.
any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. In south Florida you need the a/c all year

Hi Melmonta: In regards to Blower on when engine off; Same problem here, what fuses or what relay did you change? Please send me your comments. Thanks in advance.

Wasn't this something that was an issue in a recall? I had this problem with my 2008 CX-9 and took it in for the recall and they replaced the relay.

Hi Bluenote53; this is a old issue; I found the relays in the fuses box, engine compartment; this is a Relay failure; you can find the relays for $25-$30 usd Dealer Parts or Auto Shop Store for $10-$15 usd. I just check the position of the terminals of the new relay versus my relay; I change both Front and Rear Fan Relays; problem fixed since a year ago. I hope this helps. Happy New Year!

Known fault with CX-9's.

Replace both Blower Motor Relays.
