Solved: Phonebook download problem CX-5 NB-1, ZTE Valet Tracfone Android
Always got error when downloading, via bluetooth, all contacts to the car. Could download a single contact, but not all contacts at once. Solution for me was to use an app called Bluetooth Phonebook (Google Play store). It costs $1.99, but there is a free trial version you can install to see if it will work for your phone. The trial changes the phone numbers, so it is used for testing only. The app replaces the phonebook export module, apparently the factory module of many phones has a bug. Just install the app, you don't need to run anything for the fix to work (it just fixes the buggy module). I'll just leave these bread crumbs, maybe it'll help someone else.
p.s. I have no connection with app.

Worked great
Thanks! This was a small annoyance with our new CX-5.
For $2, I just downloaded the app and it worked great. I have an older Moto Droid RAZR MAXX HD (Verizon).
BTW, I'm new to this forum. We just took delivery of our new CX-5 Grand Touring with Moonroof/Bose and Technology Package on Friday. Absolutely love it. Looking forward to learning a lot of good information on this forum.

for iPhone user?
I just got a CX-5 a couple of weeks ago. I have been searching high and low for solutions on this phonebook issue. My car could download my entire phonebook, but whenever the engine goes off and on again, the downloaded phonebook will be gone. I am wondering, does the mentioned app work on iPhone? Does anyone face the same problem as I do and manage to fix it?
