Planning on getting a family dog real soon, being proactive and looking to protect our 2014 Mica Red cx-5. Got her about a month ago, I came across this wondering if anybody have purchased the liner, please give your review. Also would like to hear what people think about the item.

Comes slow boat from China!
If you have issues, good luck contacting anybody.

We got the Mazda floor liner. It's rubber and fits nicely on the floor with the back seat upright. It won't protect the seat backs however. It looks like this:

Yea I'm leaning towards the OEM rubbel liner, thinking dogs claw would rip the leather. And I'm pretty sure it's pretty thin seeing how some "slow boat" items are not the best quality.

Sid:
I don't know what kind of dog you had in mind. We have an English Springer. he is quite active and he will climb over the seat back to get close to whoever is in the car. Therefore I devised an easy pet barrier. The first time he saw it he jumped back out because he did not like it. Then I slammed the hatch shut while he was in there and I went to a favorite place where he likes to run. Meanwhile he associates getting in the back with getting a good time and he loves it. I open the hatch and he jumps in. BTW, keep the expense down. The dog won't know anyway. If you get a puppy that will go through teething he will chew on anything. The soft leather will be no match.

I have both the floor liner and the rear covers from Medical Center Mazda. Delivery was fast and cheaper then my local dealer. I am very pleased with the combination.
