Distance to Empty not resetting

Distance to Empty not resetting

My daughter's Mazda CX-5's distance to empty indicator is not resetting after she fills the tank with gas. It's stuck at 36. Any ideas how to reset? Anybody have this issue?

That's a new one. You might try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
