Even with the AU dollar being 25% less, that's one expensive Mazda 3! Hopefully you get more diesel engine options there. I think Mazda offers that on the CX5 there.

Here's my latest mod. Part number noted on picture. K&N reusable air filter:

CX-5 OEM Accessories, opinions...-20160318_161606.jpg

Advantages:

1. Saving a few hundred dollars over the lifetime of the car assuming you change engine air filter every 5-10K as I do here in the dusty West.
2. Keeps old disposable paper filters out of the landfills
3. Easy install (5 minutes) and perfect fit.
4. Although some modest HP and MPG gains are claimed, it's too early for me to endorse those claims but I'm hopeful. See Amazon reviews.

Disadvantages:

1. Yes, you will need to wash, rinse and let air dry as needed. Save your paper filter to install as you let the K&N dry out.
2. Make sure you tell your service tech or Grease Monkey guy to not change or throw away the new air filter.

That's about it. $53 on Amazon (PN: 33-2480)

Here's my new key-fob cover:

Just something different that makes the fob less slippery and reduces scratches. Fit was a little loose, so I added some cardboard shim on the back of the inside to make for tighter fit. Different color stitching available.

I've not had time to put it on yet but doesn't look too difficult.
About $125.00

Is that all solid? Or do the ends unbolt?
If they don't, then you will need to remove the bumper 1st.

Yes, all solid. All reviews and videos say it's a 30 minute install w/o bumper removal. I'll post a followup picture when completed.

I just picked mine up yesterday, now I know what those clips are for! That cover is nice, I'll add it to my list.

SASHA 5, I also got a drop-in K&N air filter, as I have done for decades on all our vehicles.

Look at the YouTube video from "Engineering Explained" on the data from different air filters. The K&N filter added about 8 HP but there was a charcoal "anti-backfire" filter beneath it. My 2019 CX-5 turbo has no such charcoal filter, just the air filter.
BTW, I also have the cleaning/re-oiling kit to use every 2 years or when the filter looks dirty. It's important to have that kit. (Then you're ready for the zombie apocalypse. ;o)

Looks nice Sachs 5! I bought the cargo cover as well. It was a great option. I also bought the lighted door sills, which I love! I skipped the mud flaps when people said difficult to install the fronts.
