Default Break In Advice

Just picked up a new CX-5 and have a 500 mile (one way) trip.... Tampa to Atlanta in a couple of weeks. Going to pull my Goldwing on my small chariot trailer.....total weight less than 1500 lbs. going to put some miles on the CX-5 over the next couple of weeks but may not make it to 600 miles....how many is enough before I tow? Any advice or personal experience would be very helpful. Thank you

I would ride the Wing to Hotlanta myself. Why have a GW if you aren't going to ride it on long trips? My Yamaha FZ-1 crushes my spine after 3 hours even with a Sargent seat. For the cage drivers that's aka "Monkey Butt".

As for the CX, vary the vehicle's speed while towing.
