I've done a lot of price shopping for the Mazda CX-5 Touring in my area. The price difference between the 2015 and the 2016 is about 2 to 3 thousand.

I hate the way the infotainment system works and looks in the 2015 model, which I was glad they fixed in the 2016.

I guess my question to people who have used either or both - is getting the new infotainment system worth the big price jump?

I went from a 2014 to a 2016, same trim level. There was more than just the infotainment system that was improved, but that was the main driver for me to upgrade.

YMMV...

 

I just bought a 2016 GT. I will say the the 2016 is not only better for the radio but is significantly quieter with road noise. The 2015's are very very noisy and he 16 is way less noisy!

Just traded my 2014 6 for the cx5 2016. Better cx5 all the way around.

Had a 2012 Audi Q5 before the 6 and like the cx5 better for a lot less money.
