2015 Mazda Cx5 Cree headlight kit/ better?
Hello, I recently bought a 2015 Mazda CX5 Gt with out the tech package. I had a few suggestions on what lights to install. I was told HID are the trend, then I herd Cree light packages are even better and more reliable. Has anyone ever had experience or tried these new state of the art Cree technology lights in there new mazda or any vehicle or know any one who has? I searched Ebay for H11 Cree LED lights and every seller promises satisfaction guaranteed. These are the web pages i were looking at. 1 Set 80W 4500LM 5000K 6000K 8000K All in One CREE LED Car Headlight H4 | eBay
2X CREE 80W 4500LM 6000K Auto Car LED Headlight Hi Lo Kit Bulb Lamp H4 H13 9007 | eBay
Im sure they will work great but im wondering and hoping will they go farther and brighter and with out flickering or any other issues than the stock lights that come with the 2015 CX5 GT. I dont like the yellow ish look to the stock version and there not as bright and mimic daylight like my last vehicle which was a 2006 BMW X3 SUV sport model. I loved its lights! Though I love the Mazda CX5 better for its fuel economy and not requiring premium gas.

A lot has been written about LED Headlights on the CX-5 forums.
People want them because they make the CX-5 look better.
Because they are brighter,
And because they want to be able to see down the road better.
I am interested in seeing better ( I live in the country and share the road with deer. What the lights look like when looking at the car is of no interest to me.
A headlight assembly is made up of two important parts The bulb, and the optics in the projector (reflector) The projector in our car is designed for the light source (Halogen bulb fulfillment) to be in a certain place. The further the light source (LED chip) is from that place the worst the pattern will be down the road.
For this reason I think the LED bulbs with the two LEDs have the best chance Something like this
About
I wasn't convinced so I went to a brighter Halogen.
I replaced the stock high beam bulbs with Philips 9011/HIR1. They only require slight trimming of the top locking tab to be a direct replacement. Stock 9005 bulbs are rated at 1700 lumens and the 9011s are rated at 2350 lumens.
