hi all, for those with a transmission problem and a flashing hold light this might help....
car would start with no hold light and then it would kick in flashing at around 40-50kph, no overdrive, just in its safety mode. then after stopping the car and restarting it would go away and the resume again at same speed. took it to the mazda dealers expecting the worst (have replaced a gearbox before and know what it costs...) and they found a broken wire running from the speed sensor. fixed in no time and at small expense... hope it helps someone, good luck
