Default Can this type of MAF be cleaned? (picture)

I haven't seen the little metal wires anywhere yet? Do I have a MAF sensor that can't be cleaned? It's out of a 1989 626 lx non-turbo auto trans. Thanks.

That is not the kind of sensor that you can clean. You have the older style that has a spring loaded door inside to determine airflow. The kind you are thinking of is one that you can look straight through that is a hot wire sensor.

I would use electronics cleaner if you insist on it.
