323f obd2 socket?

Default 323f obd2 socket?

my mazda 323f has the airbag lights on, however i cannot find the obd2 socket to plug my fault finder in, i know its supposed to be under the steering column but its just not there, any1 know were it could be?

well its a t-plate so a 1999 but on the logbook it says 2002, its a 1.5gxi if that helps, i checked behind the ashtray and is not there, only one i can see is in the engine bay but surely there must be another one in the car

Ya' might try under the dash on the passenger, LS of the car to see if it's there instead.
Those earlier cars may have just had a port supported in/with a bracket but just hanging in mid air. I have seen that before w/OBDI cars. I agree that there should be one in the cabin. It's got to be there somewhere.

Also, is there a build/GVW/paint code sticker on a door threshold somewhere? Ours here in the states are on the B pillar, LS front door (driver's side here) but yours may be different.
