Default 323 (1998) Wiper Linkage Arm

Hi,

My windscreen wipers have suddenly failed on me. It appears that the centre point where the 2 arms join have come apart. One arm sits on top of the other with a rubber stopper that holds them together. Now the rubber stopper is too weak and it just comes apart after one cycle.

Any suggestions on how I could fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Smile wiper arms

Hi there, I,ve had that same problem on a 1998 323 as well as my current 95 model. I have had to reconnect the arms and drill a small hole through the joint and insert a small but quite long nut and bolt. This worked for me, but it can be quite awkward to work on so good luck....
