strange electrical issue
hi guys, i have a Mazda 3 bl 2010 with a persistent problem with the brake lights staying on. i have tried the following
i have replaced the Brake Light Switch - no fix
Scanned the ABS+Computer with Foxwell Nt630(all tests) - no codes
scanned vehicle with Autel AutoLink® AL539(all tests) - no errors/codes
Tested all fuses - no problems
Replaced the clutch switch - no fix
Replaced the entire rear wiring harness with new one (including new tail lights)
replaced all fuses with new (external fusebox+room fusebox) - fault(see below)
now i have discovered after replacing all the fuses that if i pull out the room fuse the lights work as normal, this did not happen before i replaced all the fuses and replaced the rear wiring. so im getting closer to the problem.
i then hooked up a FF310 Open and Short Circuit Tracer to every single electrical wire in the front wiring harness and found no problems...
so my next move is to replace the entire front wiring harness, anyone else got any ideas before i do so?????
