CD stuck in 6 disc changer in 2004 Mazda 6
I just bought my 2nd 2004 Mazda 6. 4 CDs are in the CD deck. The CD in position 1 will not eject, just flashes, and the CD player makes noises (like it's trying to play or eject the CD) when I push the eject button. The previous owner says he tried to fix the issue by following youtube posts, but left the problem for me to deal with. My 1st 2004 Mazda 6 had over 250,000 miles on it with absolutely zero issues with the CD player. So any such issues with this vehicle is new to me. I looked at posts for solutions, and tried powering off and pushing eject button multiple times. The CD does not even come out enough to see it so I can try to grab it with tweezers, etc. I appreciate any advice/tips on getting the CDs out without replacing the entire CD changer.

It's not a unknown problem with these older cars. You can pull out the entire stereo unit, unbolt the CD changer from the facia, carefully dismantle it and remove the CD's.
It's probably not worth getting it rebuilt/repaired. You got the options of a 2nd hand unit, replace the whole stereo & facia with an aftermarket stereo & facia, or simply forget the archaic CD's & go for AUX input.

Thank you grim_reaper. I expect I'll have to dismantle and physically remove the CDs as you stated. I'll keep hoping for less invasive options as I prepare to do the last resort (dismantle and replace).
