Thanks everyone for the info about the code reset after 3 failed code attemps with err flashing!!!. It is the early australian model with the radio/tapedeck @ top & CD player underneath with 5 radio presets!!! This is what worked : Ignition off then to acc....then:
PRESS 1 at a time ...scan> fm/am> auto m> the up FF seek!!!......
Then enter :3511 using 1 to 4 radio presets
Then press together & hold: auto m & scan
The word good displays!!!!! Ignition off & back to acc or to on & radio& cd player now works fine!!!!!! Thanks a heap as saved $$$$$

First switch off and then to "acc", Headunit flashing ERR)
[dont have fm1/2 // Scan keys)

(pres.6 + fm/am + auto + seek up)

Any advise?

Did just try out 1H with Ignition on (motor off), no succes, turned off and to acc then - still nothing

Hi I am new to the forum and after reading all the threads on resetting radio code on my 2007 Mazda 3 I had same issues as Benny , but tried his solution and hey presto all reset and working perfectly, Happy Days
