help ... before i pull my head back off fono stupid reason

90 b2200 carb. Stock with no a/c or cruise. Just got my head back on ,torqed down intake on , exhaust on ,timing on... All back together and put oil across my lifters and oil dumps out the back of the head.. I don't remember anything that was supposed to go on it or do I have any spare parts..but it looks surfaced ,like its it needs a gasket and and some sort of plat on it.and i dont remember just being able to see the end of the shaft either.. as of now ive pulled back of the rocker arms and t belt , still dont wanna pull the whole head off... please help... a pic or part # would be great... thank u
