'07 6 - Can't operate passenger side window from driver side
Hello all,
First post here, and I wish it was under better circumstances. I was hoping someone has experienced and resolved an issue with the power windows.
The CEL came on a couple of weeks ago, and in checking everything out, I pulled the negative battery cable to clear the CEL. Since then, I cannot open or close the passenger side window from the driver side block.
I have the pdf from Mazda on how to reset it by holding the switch down/up for a few seconds but that hasn't resolved the issue.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there, ok firstly make sure the window deactivation switch is not on. That is located just below the window switch itself , press the switch and see if it lifts up? If yes try your windows. Now if they still dont work , turn the ignition to on thats with all the lights on the dash Key in position 2 just before start, ok walk round to your passenger side window now press the window down for two seconds now at the same time lift the window switch up and hold it for 5 seconds now press the window switch once and the window should go down , now check it at the drivers switch . Good Luck.
