Default Bose, Mazda and burned MP3 discs

I've just bought an '07 CX-9 with the Bose system w/ 6 disc changer, and according to the manual it should play mp3 discs. On the first attempt I get nothing, and my wife reminded me that the discs I was using don't work in my '03 mazda6 six disc changer either. The discs did work in the POS town and country we traded in for the '9, so i know information is being written to the disc. I tried switching brands of CD's (and yes, i'm aware they need to be -r or-rw) but to no avail. I'm currently using Sonic RecordNow to burn. If anyone has a solution, be it new burn program, different brand, etc. I would be grateful.

I'm new here and currently have a JVC head unit in my Subaru Impreza.

You might try using iTunes. Make a playlist of songs you want and burn

an mp3 CD.

Try a different burning program. Something about the speed of the burning process make a big difference. Also, some stereos are just picky.
