Does anyone know if I can put XM radio in my CX-9? The factory radio is SAT ready and has a SAT button. I know that TERK makes an XM direct tuner but you need a "smart adaptor" that is specific to your radio brand. I haven't found anything yet and my local stero shop isn't aware of anything either. Any help?

Currently Mazda uses Sirius... I dont "think" you can use xm with the "sat" system that's built into the car.

Thanks. I am trying to stay away form Sirius d/t having XM in my other car. Cheaper to have 2 subs to same service than 1 of each.

It's very possible that one will soon be the other anyways... they're in the process of trying to merge....

Nothing for the CX-9 yet, but PIE Electronics makes kits for XM to work directly with factory radio.

Yes there is a unit, per say, that will hook into your existing factory installed radio.  It will work with your NAV unit display too.

The model is Audiovox CNP2000UC if the link does not work.
