What model of 6 do you have? How do you like it?

I have the 03 6s. Love it! Hubby keeps trying to get me to trade it in, but I cant! Mine is a little unusual, since I have the Black onyx 6s, but it has grey leather, no fogs and the sport package. I like to consider her "rare" LOL

Black Cherry Mica Speed6 GT with the tint on the rear. Can't beat it. I like the power and the 6 speed is nice.

I've got the titanium gray metallic speed 6. I love the trans in this car. This thing gets up and goes, doesn't it! I like that black cherry mica, but it looks a little too purple in some lighting to me. What do you think dan?

I have an 04 black onyx 6s with the 6 cyl and sport package. Only thing I didnt get in the car is the leather interior and the moonroof. Just dont see a need for it. I love the car and when I get back from my deployment I plan on adding a few go fast parts to it. While we're on the subject anybody have names for their cars? Mine is Annie. Don't know why just it seemed like a good name for my car.

Hey Gang. I just bought last Saturday afternoon a 2004 Black Onyx 6s Sportwagon with the beige cloth interior and 5 speed. I really like this sportwagon so far. Too bad I don't have fog lights and the moonroof but I'll survive. I plan on getting a K&N air filter, tint the rear windows and maybe getting the rear hatchback spoiler. Just got to teach my DW how to drive stick shift one more time and hold back when the baby is in the car seat.

I have a Mazda 6 2.3 sports model, with loads of extras and black leather interior, but I'm about to sell it

I told the dealer that it was purple looking and he spent several hours showing it to me in the sun and shade to convince me it was black cherry. When it is sunset or foggy it looks purple. Oh well most people think it is black except if it is freshly washed.

Yeah I really wanted a different color, but I buy things based on what kind of deal I can get and I got a real good deal on the black cherry.

I kinda went through the same thing with the dealer when I was looking at them. The mica they had was fully loaded though, and I didn't want the $2K navigation system.

Black MazdaSpeed6 GT (Basically everything I could get on it) - $4000 discount through work though :)
Black/White 2-tone leather interior

Mods: AEM CAI

Future Mods: Magnaflow Exhaust and CP-E Downpipe (w/out cat).
P&P AEM EMS [They may be making a Plug & Play EMS in the future (Dont ask them because they will deny it until it's in production).]

I was thinking of getting the cpe turbo back exhaust, but I want to keep the dual exhaust. I don't know if I like the magnaflow, but I can't find any soundclips of it. I like the way the cpe sounds, it's not too ricey, you know, the fart-can sound (at least that's what I call it when I make fun of people in their civics and such). I also don't like the way the magnaflow replaces those inserts and puts the pipes right out the back, as you'll get carbon all over that rear bumper. Put a sound clip up of the magnaflow if you get it. I will probably also get the cpe intake for a christmas gift for myself this year, but I'm waiting to see if K&N comes out with one - I volunteered my vehicle for R&D so if the use it, I'll get a free intake when it goes into production.

Have you looked under your car? Dual exhaust (laugh laugh) yeah, it splits at the muffler. There is only one pipe going back unless the other one is secret.

I know it's not a true dual exhaust like my mustang was, that's pointless on the little 4 cyl. I was referring to the dual tips, I guess I should have been more specific as to not get ridiculed about it. I would like to keep the dual tip exhaust but I'm afraid the Magnaflow will sound too "ricer." (excuse the expression, but that's the only way I can classify it). I heard the sound clip of the cpe exhaust and liked it. I want to hear the magnaflow to compare though.

Thanks for the link to the soundclip bsprogs. Last time I was on there they didn't have it up yet. Doesn't sound too bad in my opinion, I was afraid they would be too agressive and it would sound like all the other hondas n such out there - you know what I mean.

I know exactly what you mean. I actually like the way it sounds.

My combo of the CP-E downpip with the magnaflow will be interesting once I get everything and install it.

New on board. I had a 04 mazda 6i but crashed on 11/05. It was hitted by a bmw 330I during 28,000 miles. My AAA insurance insisted to repair. The first estimation was less $7,800. When I picked up my white mazda 6i and reapiring bill amount was upto $12,000. After repairing, driving the car was alwasys moved to right handside due to frame damage. After arugument with AAA and bodyshop, almost file a complain to CA insurance board, Bodyshop bought it back with $11,000. loss $1,000. Now, I own two cars: ford five hundred 05 and toyota camry 97. I will buy another mazda 6i 06 or 07 value edition during Jan, 2007 to replace my old camry. Now My insurance is not AAA (autoclub) insurance, I hope my next mazda 6i will last for 120,000 miles. Mazda 6 is much better than 07/06 camry or altima.

I have a 2003 Mazda 6 Sport with the 2.3 4 cyl engine. I love it it has all the stock bells and whistles on it. Leather, body kit, fin, 17" alloys, BOSE audio w/ a sub, and red dash lights. And because it is a 4 cyl and not a V6 is dosn't exactly squeel off the line but if you use the triptronic trany and wait till higher rpms you can get some decent acceleration...still wish it was a V6. Check out my picture.

2007 M6s.  No leather or Bose.  So far, it's completely stock.  Planned mods: Debadging (Mazda and dealer badges), window tint, sharkfin antenna, new grille, iPod adapter, CPE intake, HIDs, clear side markers, and who knows what else I may end up doing.

Black Mica 2005 M6s 5dr: Bose w/6disk in-dash, leather interior, & sun roof. Mods so far consist of a Mazdaspeed CAI, though I am also planning on getting a set of 17x7.5 Enkei RP F-1's shod with 225/45R-17 Bridgeston Potenza REO1R's (which will be used of autocross only).
I love this car! I took it to an SCCA SoloII event last weekend and had a blast, this car is surprisingly agile for it's size and weight.
