Hello everyone, I am not an rx8 owner. I own a contour svt. My friend who owns an rx8 was talking with me and he mentioned that there were rims offered from the dealership that were much lighter weight. He wasn't sure of any of the specs and I am curious so I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Weight, Size, what are they made out of. Thanks....

some wheel weights are made of lead and some are aluminum

I like the response above, he did not mean what the wheel weights are made of, he is looking for the weight of the wheel.

anyone know the stock weight of the 17 inch Mazda 6 o.e. wheels ? When I get a chance , I want to weigh my chromed o.e. 6 wheels and compare 'em
The chromed ones don't have the tires on 'em yet but the silver ones do , so ....

my bad but wheel weights differ in each wheel and tire hardly ever do they have the same

id love to put those rims on my 3....but they're like, $1500 CDN for the aluminum ones, and like, $2200 for the magnesium ones....ouch

25 lbs...They are heavy. I believe the lightweight Mazdaspeed wheels are around $450-500/each
