I dont understand why they got rid of the copper red mica, lava orange, and the yellow. The 3 looks great in those colors! The lava orange i know was only for the five door and the car looks hot in it. I dont think the four door would look good in yellow, but the copper looks different and nice. There's someone around me that has a 4 door in the copper and i wished that color was out in 05 or still available. The color choices for the 3 now are very bland except for the blue. The nordic green looks too old and doesn't suit the car well. That was a wise decision to get rid of it but not the other colors.

I have the electric blue, I think. Kind of a bright darkish blue.
Sorry James, but your grey mica is everywhere. They are 10 to 1 on all the dealer lots. Still, it's a great color. My friend commented on liking the carbon grey alot when we were at mazda/guelph on Sunday. But, my young friend. Thats all the dealer had. Nothing else, just Carbon Grey. It felt like a rainy day. I've seen a red 3 zippin around my neibourhood. Not too bad. I really liked the dark red in the pictures above. Yellow was cool too. If I can only find a picture of a m3 sedan with blue so I can have it as my desktop. Anyone?

Once you go grey, you have no say.
Once you've had blue, it's all true.
Can you find me a blue sedan for my wallpaper.
I know you bought in Acton. We've had this chat.

It was available in 4 and 5 door in 2004.

Well shut my mouth. I did not know that. Why are they not offered on the 07 and 08 models? Those are great colors; I like yours a lot. Wanna sell it to me for 10K?.....is worth a try...sorry. Great reply tho! Thanks
Not really sure. The yellow (in my opinion) really wasn't as dynamic a color as the other ones. I'm pretty sure it was a flat color without metallic flakes to give that sparkle and color shift like you see with the lava orange and copper red. The nordic green actually looks fantastic in person.... pictures really can't do it justice as it just looks black.
10K? No way. $15k sounds about right. :)

We actually just bought a sedan in phantom purple and it looks really good. My wife has an obsession with purple, but I actually think the car looks really good in the phantom purple, especially after we get the windows tinted.

I want either the True Red or the Galaxy Grey. I don't know why the Purple is even available...it doesn't match the personality of the car at all.
Some colors that I would love to see the 3 in that aren't available are Dark Red, Yellow, Burnt Orange, and Forest Green.

i've got a 04' 4-door in solar yellow...and its manual. With the black leather interior I think it's extremely sharp...but i do agree that it could have been better if it were a bit more flashy.

Please don't take what I said wrong, Razz. I like the yellow ones and they are very, very rare. I too was looking for my hatch in yellow inspite of the "color could have been better" comment. My wife however has some deep seeded, psycological problem w/yellow cars, so even if I had found the one I wanted, she would nopt have allowed it.
By the "near" end of the model year, the only one I found had the man-u-matic and leather, neither of which are for me.
But it had the CD changer and sun/moon roof, which certainly are, and I got neither in my current ride.

I just got a 07 Phanton Purple Mica Hatchback, and so far I have got nothing but comments on how good it looks, as for the purple, so far it is the only Hatchback in that color I have seen in the area
