tranny removal

ok so i have a 96 mpv new motor at 133k and now the tranny is stuck in 4th gear after a week or so of hard shifting and wanting ot go into 2nd gear all the time while on the high way.. well finaly on teh way home the transmisson shuts down is stuck in 4th i manage to baby it home and get it on the drive me and my son who is in school getting his ase is working on the car trying to get the tranny out.. now all the bolts that are in the bell housing connecting the tranny to the motor are out except the top few does any one know a few helpfull hints that will make this go buy faster.. we were thinking about droping the rear mount to lower the motor but that is def a last resort.. all help is apreciated
 
so far the drive shaft all lines rear part of tranny is off where out put shaft and drive shaft meet up.. lower cross member is out.. going ot take off the exhust tomororw and c if that gives us some room.. thanks again..
