I have an 87 non turbo that won't start. The fuel pump isn't getting any fuel and the coils will produce no spark. I've changed the coils and igniters the fuel pump, the fuel pressure regulator and the ecu. I've also changed my plugs and wires and every fuse and relay I could find. Any one ever have this problem before?
I'm assuming my problem originates somewhere in the electrical department, but I don't know where else to look. I'm pulling my hair out on this one...

Check the crank angle sensor.

If it's not working, the ECU won't know that the engine is actually cranking, and thus won't fire up the fuel pump or coils.

have you checked for fuel in the tank?

the engine will not run, or start (in your case) without fuel. get this problem sorted out first. how do you know the fuel pump isn't getting any fuel. did you remove the filter and no fuel came out?

how do you know that there is no spark from the coils, are you earthing it to the engine when trying to turn it over.
