Anyone know if you can switch/ need to switch the speedo drive gear when you have put a motor & transmission from an 86 B2000 to a 89 B2200?
The speedo is definetly out of whack and its not the tire size or speedo cable as I have played with those two... thought it might be the speedo drive gear as it may match the original rear differental....
Thoughts...?

ie could there be different gear ratios for the 86 and 89 transmissions?
