Speed3 Going Rate/Price?

Hello all. I am new to the forum and joined because I am interested in the Speed3.
I am currently located in Germany, but I am due to move back to the states next year. I am very interested in ordering a Speed3, but while I am overseas, there is only one place I can go thru to do so. I would like to know what the going rate is for the Speed3, before taxes. I know what the MSRP is and all of that, but since I can only go thru one place here, I want to make sure they are not taking advantage of that fact (they also know I have nowhere else to turn if I want one).
Thanks in advance.

The local (San Diego, CA) dealerships are charging $1000 over MSRP for the MS 3.

AT the dealer today in PA. Im told they are easily getting over invoice. Gotta love it when they are getting over invoice while other companies are practically giving cars away

Thanks for the reply. I guess I should take the car then. I ordered the car for approx $1200 under MSRP. The total was $24,100 (before taxes), for the GT loaded with everything except the nav system. Seems like they are giving me a decent deal.

Sounds like the dealers in your area are fair. Hopefully they keep to those prices as the supply dries up.

I don't understand why they would be selling them below sticker. But hell yes, that is a good price. The dealership here got 2. I bought mine on Tuesday, and the other one sold on Thursday. You will really enjoy this little car.

The deal I got is kind of a long story, but the short version is that I ordered a 06 TDI Jetta and they cancelled the order because they said they couldn't get any more TDIs, so they offered to make it up to me if I ordered another car, and I picked the Speed3. That was totally the short version. Based on what I am reading here, alone, I am gonna take the Speed3.

Full MSRP in Richmond VA. 6 of the 9 the dealer will get this year are sold already (or so they say). They don't sit around here for more than a few hours before they are sold, and that's only if the person who originally ordered it does not take delivery for whatever reason. If you really like the MS3 and you find one below MSRP, I would say buy it.

I placed an order for a true red Speed3 GT with navigation and will be paying $28,244. That is the total drive out price with tax, title licence, destination charges, navigation option charge, etc all included. In other words, MSRP with TT&L.
