Yeah, right. Ha. I did not, I repeat, did not, try to race him, just goaded him into gettin' on it. I slipped it into fourth gear and revved it a bit, just to get his attention... I guess he heard me, cause he didn't even look my way, just dropped a gear (or two?) and was g-o-n-e. Seriously. Makes me want somethin' a might bit quicker than my good ol' speed 3. Maybe go to rwd and more power on my next purchase, a few years from now, if I'm lucky and good enough to stay alive that long... and of course have the $$$$

I've driven a GT500 before when I was launching the interior....500 hp gets you going in a hurry. I haven't seen official performance numbers for it yet, but 0-60 is in the mid 4 second range.

Try a roll from about 70 on I-30 here in Fort Worth... Yup, that power's still there.

Shelby GT500 performance
0-60 4.6 seconds
0-75 6.2 seconds
1/4 mile - 12.8 @ 113mph
68.1 mph in slalom, 0.89g skidpad
448 hp at the tires
The one that I drove would light up the tires in 2nd or 3rd gear while already going ~30 mph if you got too heavy with the throttle. It's an animal.
