I bought an 06 S Model last year and I am just getting around to making it look good.  My brother in law got me a pair of those ice blue headlights (lamp?) and Id like to install them.

1.  How do I find out if I have HID, Xenon, etc??
2.  Is there a write-up I can follow?

Thanks in advanced and sorry for being such a noob!  :)

HIDs only came on the GT trim, so if you don't have a GT then you don't have HIDs.  That being said there are a few other things you can look for.  Look on the dash to the left of the steering wheel where the dash dimmer dial is.  If there's a little wheel next to it with the numbers 0-3 then that's the leveling control for the HIDs.  Look at the back of the headlight and if there's a big high voltage warning sticker on the back of the dust cap then you have HIDs.

Bear in mind that if you have HIDs then you need a DS2 lamp, and if you have Halgens you need a H7 lamp. ;)

It was actually easier than I thought.  When in doubt, consult the manual .

This is what I have: http://store.racinglab.com/luminics-blue-h7.html

What about the fog light bulbs, Id like to match them to my new lamps, any suggestions?
