rear exhaust manifold

my rear exhuast manifold has a hole in it and the car sounds like a harly and drives like a go kart does anybody have any tips or an easy way to get it out without extreme overwork

i forgot its a 2001 s

takes about 3 hours if you have a lift.   entire exh has to come off.  there is a crossmember right behind the manifold, the exh pipe goes over it.  this crossmember has to come off.  

thanks im going to try that tomorrow i attacked it today but had no luck but i did find the problem the pre cat seperated from the manifold
hopefully it can be welded back on and be the end of it
