Rear Bumper steps for Hatchback??

I requested them from my dealer while negotiating, and they told me that they go ahead and install them on every hatchback as it was so frequently requested.  They definitely help a good deal, but there are still times I wish I just had a 3M type clear cover over the back bumper instead of the black plastic.
