The easiest tool to use is a common test light to find the problem. In a shop, mechanics use a digital volt meter to check amp draw, but a test light will work. When using a test light, first disconnect the neg battery terminal and connect the test light between the loose termianl and battery. There will be a very minimal draw normally and the bulb in the light will be very dim. If there is a big draw, it will glow bright. To start, turn off the dome light and start to pull each fuse one at a time while observing the light. If you notice the light go dim all of a sudden, that is the affected circuit that is staying on. Use your owners manual to see all systems that are on the fuse. That will help narrow it down.

The alternator could be a problem if it is not charging. I did not see that the first post mentioned the battery or charge light staying on. If it is charging ok, then there is a draw on the system.
