WHAT I HAVE:
18" Konig Rims.
Smoked Tail Lights.
Tint (but all AZ cars SHOULD have it or you'll cook to death).
Blue HID low beams.
Painted calipers and removed side molding.
That's all I can afford for now haha.


WHAT I WANT:
Dual exhaust.
My emblems painted black.
Badgeless black grille!!!
Sharkfin.
Lowered a little.



Where my tires hit whenever I go too fast over bumps .
Makes me crrinnnnge!

here is 1989 crx that i had to mess around i went on hills and sadly flew of a cliff and got into car crash so i put a d15 to get it running and decided well car is already bad so might of well have fun to see how much i suck
(lol not to mention in accident all gauges got on fire front was fiberglass so that was all gone likely frame was okay but here it is before i gave it away to someone who wanted to mess around with it
(the only good think the car has is custom gauges, and coil overs adjustable

Why the blue brakes? would red not have looked a bit sharper to match the red accents on the front badge and foglights?

Well... it just sort of happened. I thought about red, but EVERYBODY and his brother paints their calipers (Brembo) red and I just couldn't bring myself to do it.  I don't have Brembo calipers and besides I like the blue but didn't want the badges blue too.
Also, I was short on time (< than a week) preparing for my first local Mazda meet. It wasn't a conscience decision to do the red, white and blue thing, but probably a sub-conscience one.  I wanted to be a little different.  Isn't that what we all strive for?  Some like it, some don't, but it's OK w/me.
And, no offense taken.  It's a valid question.
Here's how the car actually looked then.  A few things have changed since then (04/01/06):

It was Anthony Tangs '04 Titanium Gray ATX HB, the organizer of our local Mazda chapter. That was before he traded up to a black '07 MS3. The license number on that car was only 2 away from my own.  Z11*..., mine vs. Z13*..., his, and he bought his 6 days after I bought mine.

Is it bad that I don''t know?  ;)  I assume VE stands for value edition?  All I know is it''s pretty, it goes fast and it makes me smile.
 
What would make it a 6i VE?  It''s the 2.3L v4 sport AT tran.

Very good, and correct!! Mazda is selling a ton of those editions lately because they are  pretty good value. Also I recently took my 3 in for service and they loaned 2 of them to me,on 2 different visits of course.
My biggest complaint was the softness of the suspension.  If I owned one I would at least have to upgrade the ant-sway bars.

Actually, my suspension seems to be fine.  But then again, I have been driving an HHR for the last 2 years and trust me, that thing was mush compared to my 6.  I need to come up with a name for her.  It needs to be something racey or race inspired.

Oh, and one other thing:  It is my belief that you cannot force a name on a car.  It either has one or it doesn''t.
My ex said the name for her/my Civic was Inga, and it was. My 3 HB is virgin1, and it is.
