My car is a 92 mazda protege DX and it has a 5 speed manual transaxle. My problem is that the transaxle will not slide off. I attached 2 pics. The first one (33) shows a metal slide on the bottom center of the photo. It would be the bottom left of the transaxle if facing the transaxle. There is a metal pin that slides back and forth and that pin is what I think is hold it together? That pin is on a shaft that runs all the way through the transaxle. The staft comes out of the transaxle under the out cover (pic 34). The shaft is the one that is on the right in the photo, looks like a shifting fork is connected to it.
