MX-6 cuts out

I have a 1992 Mazda MX-6 Special Edition, and only when I accelerate the engine just completely cuts out for maybe a half a second to a second at a time, and then continues on with no problem. Sometimes it will do this more then once in one accelleration. I put soem fuel injection cleaner in the car and taped up one of the intake hoses that had a crack in it, but that didn't seem to do anything.
 
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
 

I have a '93 mx 6 6 cyl. This has happened to me two times. Check the values of your distributor. The cars eat them.

i have a 93 also and i've replaced the distributor 3 times now and its starting to cut out again its like the hole engine shuts down then will come back on for a second sometimes it wont even start back up
